Fire!

It started with a bang, as the sky touched the trees, creating a spark. Soon the whole forest was alight, burning orange in the midnight hour. Endo grazed further in the forest, he was alone, kicked from his herd when he reached of age. Now he lived the life of a bachelor stallion, it was a little too boring for Endo.. Suddenly a rabbit bounced through Endo's legs, it had startled him and he looked where the rabbit ran, the air started to feel warmer than usual. Endo looked up, and into the eyes of a forest devouring beast. The fire had finally caught him. Endo stared into the flames as they engulfed the trees around him. His legs felt heavy and his thoughts blurry. He was petrified. Animals had been racing past him trying to escape the flames, and it wasn't until a young fawn crashed into Endo's chest that he finally awoke. Endo stared into the scared eyes of the fawn before it bounded away. Endo turned on his hocks and galloped after the animals, his heart bounding against his chest, trying to break free as the flames licked and snapped at his legs and feet. Blinded by the smoke Endo ran faster and faster, he wasn't sure where it would take him, he just hoped he would make it out alive.
